About Trevi and the Spanish Steps: the back story

The Tridente takes its name from the three streets that fan out from the Piazza del Popolo: the Via del Babuino, the Via del Corso and the Via di Ripetta. Between them lie the Spanish Steps, the fashion streets and, to the south-east, the Trevi Fountain.
